Originally painted as a commission, Dyad gained popularity due to the color and the harmonious balance of two beings. At the center of the story involved a flower and a map, pieces of the original commission that was important to telling the story of a mother’s love. It was also featured on Alesmith’s Women’s History Month label in March 2022. I’m so excited to bring this painting into print!
