Toxicodendron Vernix, known as the Poison Sumac plant, is the most poisonous of its species ~poison ivy, poison oak~ in the US. It’s characteristics within it’s gentle subtle green leaves is a reddish stem, indicating that it is not your typical plant friend. In the summer, the leaves are bright green. In the fall however, they range from a blood orange to a deep blood red.
